This week the weather cooperated

and delivered a pleasant

race time temperature in the mid 80's.

The Opossum enjoyed blue skies and the challenge

of riding the race course in reverse for Round 6!

Fast single-track downhills...

...were now uphill goat trails with little room

for mistakes or maneuvering past other riders.

And the old uphill sections were the perfect place...

...to make Downhill Opossum Passes!

...an evening of fun, friends and good racing!

 

Even though the thermometer may read 98 degrees,

somehow the evenings always end up being

 spectacularly beautiful by race time.

...a nice breeze and sections of shade

helped The Opossum add some extra pep

to his pedal strokes...
