"Hints Of Spring Awaken The Running Bug..."

...and to find a pair of Brooks "Glycerin"

running shoes looking up at me from the

men's shoe rack at Ross...and for only $29.99!!...

...who would've thought(?)...online running stores

declared this shoe "extinct" a year ago...so what

was it doing here on the shelves of Ross??

If it wasn't a sign to start running, 

it was a jolt of inspiration  

 to at least sit down and try to remember how

to compose a blog entry...

...although they are the men's version,

they are my size, they fit perfectly and

are the original "Glycerin" shoe before all

the design changes...my last pair

were the best running shoes I have ever owned...

"Running on Clouds" could best describe

how the shoes made my feet feel.

...so then it was over to Walmart, because

it is around this time when the spring running

items arrive...and the Danskin line of Skorts

are out on display...I have found they fit

the best of all so far...so another "3" skorts

were added...

...to an already over-stuffed

running dresser.

...it's time to train, once again...

Walmart has fun things in their athletic clothing 

department.

~

That's where I found and purchased this collection

of exercise/running clothing.

~

I ran in all three articles at one time...scoop neck

tank, 3/4 tights with skort over tights...and

it surprisingly has turned out to be my new

favorite ensemble combination.

~

Light and comfortable with excellent fit on all

pieces. The "look", fit and use of fabric, color

and print are just as nice as 

any of the more expensive brands.

~

Note: The "skort over 3/4 tights" combination

is perfect for runners who prefer to run

with a little more coverage....and in 90 degree

weather, the layering of the two articles

remained cool and comfortable.

~

This ensemble gets

"The Stew Pot Stamp"

of approval!
